SVS PRIME WIRELESS SPEAKERS AND SOUNDBASE OFFER CABLE-FREE HI-RES OPTIONS
The new SVS Prime Wireless Speaker System and SoundBase Wireless Bridge are landing in the UK direct from Ohio, USA.
American-based audio specialists SVS has just announced their new wireless products. The great news is that they're also available over here.
The new SVS wireless network devices are designed to transform the sound quality of music streaming currently available from the typical smart speaker experience.
Prime Wireless Speakers
The SVS Prime Wireless Speaker System is a high quality smart active/passive speaker pair offering dynamic full-range sound and real stereo separation.
Connectivity comes by way of both WiFi and Bluetooth (aptX and AAC) and is controlled over WiFi using the DTS Play-Fi app. Additionally, you can also control the speakers using their front panel or even Amazon Alexa's voice commands.
The Prime Wireless Speakers will slurp tunes from online music services and local sources such as your NAS or even PC, TV and gaming consoles thanks to optical and line level inputs.
The Play-Fi app provides access to music streaming services (Stream Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM, Amazon Music, Tidal) and playlists, Internet radio as well as local storage. Furthermore, the service hands you the ability to control audio from as many as 32 compatible products across 16 zones. For the most discerning audiophiles, the platform features a "Critical Listening Mode" designed for high-resolution 24bit/192kHz playback.
The speaker system boasts a powerful 200 Watts (50 watts x 4) of amplification, a high-resolution 192KHz/24-bit DAC and a precisely tuned digital crossover. All that tech is mated with simple control to deliver a compact and convenient multi-source, high-fidelity playback platform to all music lovers.
Available in a piano gloss black finish, the SVS Prime Wireless Speaker System also offers a standard subwoofer line output, while a USB port accepts SVS's SoundPath Wireless Audio Adaptor for wireless sub connection. The USB port can also be used for charging mobile devices.
